| Another sunny day, so it's off to Brantham with the camera. I had that most frustrating experience of watching the train I was going to photograph pass by as I hurried up the field to the place were I was going to stand - so no photos of the EWS 66 on the Harwich fuel tanks...
I had received a message that a route learning special was going to Leiston and back with 31190, so I decided to go to Westerfield to see it pass through. Busy traffic, and an idea for another location (which was no good) meant I arrived at Westerfield to see the 31 drift across the road in front of me! Well what would you do? I put my foot down and ended up at the rural backwater that is the Saxmundham to Leiston branch, after all I had nothing else planned for the day... |
